A dispute between two groups in Istanbul's Zeytinburnu district escalated into an armed clash. During the incident, bullets struck surrounding buildings and a business.
The incident occurred at approximately 22:30 on 74th Street in the Yeşiltepe neighborhood. According to reports, a dispute that began between two groups for reasons yet unknown quickly escalated. During the fight, in which weapons were used by the parties involved, some structures on the street were hit by bullets.
It was reported that one of the bullets broke the window of an apartment and entered the premises. Police teams were dispatched to the area upon notification.
The police took security measures on the street where the incident took place and cordoned off the area. Crime scene investigation teams conducted an examination on the street, where numerous empty shell casings were found.
The investigation launched into the incident is ongoing.
