Halk TV programmer Sinem Fıstıkoğlu has announced her new broadcasting destination. In a post on her social media account, Fıstıkoğlu announced that she has moved to Sözcü TV.
Sharing the Sözcü TV logo, Fıstıkoğlu used the phrase, "Continuing the race of journalism under this logo." In her post, Fıstıkoğlu also said, "A new address, a new excitement. Continuing the race of journalism under this logo. I owe a debt of gratitude to our editor-in-chief and the entire Sözcü family for their warm and sincere welcome."
Fıstıkoğlu had announced on October 19 that she had left Halk TV. On October 14, the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) was appointed as a trustee to Halk TV as part of an investigation into the channel's owner, Cafer Mahiroğlu.
