Security camera footage has emerged regarding the traffic accident in the Safranbolu district of Karabük that resulted in the death of 57-year-old moped rider Güler Çetinceviz.
The accident occurred on Adnan Menderes Boulevard, near the pedestrian crossing opposite the General Directorate of Highways. The car with license plate 06 FF 1791, driven by S.B., struck the moped operated by Güler Çetinceviz.
Çetinceviz, who was thrown by the impact and sustained serious injuries, was taken to the hospital by medical teams that arrived at the scene following reports. Despite all interventions at the hospital, Çetinceviz could not be saved.
The footage, captured by a business's security camera, shows the moment the car struck Çetinceviz as she was attempting to cross the road, and the subsequent moment she was thrown from the impact.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
