Grass fire in Malatya's Kale district destroys 2 houses
A fire that broke out in a grassy area in the Kale district of Malatya has left 2 houses unusable. The fire was brought under control after approximately 2 hours of intervention by teams, and cooling efforts are ongoing.
A fire broke out for reasons yet to be determined in a grassy area in the Üçdeğirmen neighborhood. Upon notification, gendarmerie, police, and numerous firefighting teams were dispatched to the region.
The fire, which spread over a wide area in a short time and reached houses in the neighborhood, was intervened in by teams from the Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, the Regional Directorate of Forestry, and the Kale Municipality.

Cooling efforts are continuing for the fire, which was brought under control after approximately 2 hours of work.
It was stated that according to initial assessments, 2 houses were rendered unusable due to the fire, and damage occurred in some other houses as well.

Kale District Governor Onur İnce also conducted inspections in the area.
