A man was found lying motionless on the coastline in the Mudanya district of Bursa. Upon receiving the report, teams dispatched to the area determined that the individual had lost his life.
The incident occurred around 07:00 in the morning on the coastline at İstasyon Street in the Ömerbey neighborhood. A person walking on the beach noticed the man lying motionless on the shore and notified the authorities.
Following the report, Coast Guard and Crime Scene Investigation teams were dispatched to the scene. Initial examinations suggest the individual, who was found with his clothes and shoes on, was between 55 and 60 years old.
The body of the man, whose identity has not yet been determined, was taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the cause of death and for identification procedures. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
