Passenger bus overturns into a ditch in Konya: Many injured

45 people were injured after an intercity passenger bus overturned into a ditch near the Hüyük district of Konya.

The accident occurred around 02:00 on the Isparta-Beyşehir highway. According to the information obtained, the bus belonging to the Yeni Diyarbakır company, which was on its way from Antalya to Iğdır, went off the road after the driver lost steering control approximately 20 kilometers before reaching Beyşehir.

Upon notification, health, gendarmerie, and traffic teams were dispatched to the area. The injured passengers on the bus were taken to Beyşehir State Hospital by ambulances.

According to initial reports, it was stated that about 40 of the injured are in mild condition. 5 of the injured were transferred to hospitals in Konya, and 3 were transferred to the hospital in the Seydişehir district.
