The management appointed as trustees to Halk TV has sent a new notification to channel employees. The message stated that the previously implemented administrative leave has been extended "until further notice."

The short message sent to employees read, "Dear Halk TV Employees; in line with the decision of our company management, administrative leave has been extended until further notice, unless otherwise specified by your unit managers."

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had seized the assets of Halk TV Chairman of the Board Cafer Mahiroğlu as part of an ongoing investigation, and the TMSF (Savings Deposit Insurance Fund) was subsequently appointed as trustee to Halk TV.
