It has been claimed that the ongoing tension between the CHP and the YENİ Party has spilled over into the parliamentary group hallways at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

According to a report by Türkiye Gazetesi, YENİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir had a barrier tape placed in front of his office in Parliament. It was noted that Emir's office is located directly across from the office of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP chairmanship following a nullity decision.

It was stated that this measure was taken due to discomfort caused by the activity in the hallway from guests arriving to visit Kılıçdaroğlu.
