Leadership seats remain vacant in 21 provinces within CHP: Appointment process sparks internal debate
Following the dismissal of 36 provincial chairs, new appointments have yet to be made in 21 provinces. The Headquarters states that they are seeking a consensus in the appointments.
The process regarding the organizational structure within the CHP has brought about a new debate over provincial chairmanship appointments. According to reports, new assignments have not yet been made for 21 of the 36 provincial chairs who were dismissed.
According to a report by Berat Temiz from Türkiye Gazetesi, the fact that provincial chairmanship seats remain vacant in some provinces during the change process initiated following Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's return to duty has led to assessments of a "management crisis" within the party.

Circles close to Özgür Özel argued that the current administration is struggling to find suitable candidates for many provinces. In assessments made from this wing, "They are making offers to dozens of people to make an appointment, but no one is accepting. The Headquarters is practically experiencing a management crisis" statements were used.
The CHP Headquarters, however, rejects these claims, stating that they are not rushing the appointments, that candidates are being evaluated one by one, and that decisions are made based on individuals for whom a common consensus has been reached.
Headquarters sources, while noting that there are numerous applications for provincial chairmanships in some provinces, emphasized that the process is not solely aimed at filling vacant positions. The sources stated, "There are too many candidates. We carry out the appointment when a consensus is reached on a name among the candidates. Our goal is not just to fill vacant positions, but to appoint the right people" they assessed.
