President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a message on his social media account to mark the 24th anniversary of the November 3, 2002 general elections.
In his post, Erdoğan described the November 3, 2002 elections as the date when the AK Party first received the support of the nation. President Erdoğan stated, "24 years ago today, we achieved an Anatolian revolution; with the November 3, 2002 elections, where we first received the favor of our nation, we opened the doors to a great and powerful Turkey."
Stating that the AK Party has served the public with works, projects, and investments throughout this process, Erdoğan said, "As the AK Party, we have been the servants of our beloved nation for a quarter of a century with our works, our projects, and our investments; we have worked without stopping or pausing, saying 'Everything for Turkey'."
In his message, Erdoğan emphasized that they will continue to work with the goal of moving Turkey forward in every field, adding, "With God's permission, we will continue to serve this nation we are in love with and this country we are devoted to."
