Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş has drawn attention with her visits to 31 countries over the last two years. Meanwhile, the ministry's private office expenditures exceeded 32 million liras in the January-April period.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş is in the spotlight due to the overseas visits she has conducted during her tenure. Having traveled to 31 different countries in two years, Göktaş has even surpassed Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan in this regard.
According to a report by Sözcü, Göktaş, who visited countries such as Cyprus, France, the USA, Turkmenistan, Germany, and Italy in the first four months of 2025, has also increased her ministry's private office expenditures.
PRIVATE OFFICE EXPENDITURES ARE RISING
A total of 32 million 11 thousand 229 TL was spent on the ministry's private office services during the January-April 2025 period. Expenditures were 9 million 711 thousand 246 TL in January, 6 million 829 thousand 132 TL in February, 7 million 137 thousand 51 TL in March, and 8 million 80 thousand 841 TL in April. These figures represent a significant increase compared to the 21 million 646 thousand 954 TL spent during the same period in 2024.
