No CHP mayors left in Bursa and Edirne following recent resignations

Following the resignations of CHP mayors in Bursa and Edirne, there are no longer any CHP mayors left in either province. In Bursa, 6 mayors who left the CHP announced that they have joined the YENİ Party.
In Bursa, Nilüfer Mayor Şadi Özdemir, Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın, Gemlik Mayor Şükrü Deviren, Mudanya Mayor Deniz Dalgıç, Mustafakemalpaşa Mayor Şükrü Erdem, and Harmancık Mayor Haşim Ali Arıkan resigned from the CHP along with their municipal council members and joined the YENİ Party.

A similar situation has emerged in Edirne. It was reported that Edirne Mayor Filiz Gencan, Havsa Mayor Hüseyin Özden, and Uzunköprü Mayor Ediz Martin have joined the YENİ Party, which is stated to have been founded by Özgür Özel.
Enez Mayor Özkan Günenç, Süloğlu Mayor Mehmet Ormankıran, and Lalapaşa Mayor Sezgin Geldi will continue their duties as independent mayors after leaving the CHP.
