Surprising result in poll featuring YENİ Party: The balance has completely shifted

The Turkey Data Map has shared the results of its election survey for the July 2026 period with the public. In the study, which involved 1,720 participants, respondents were asked the question, “If there were a general election this Sunday, which party would you vote for?”
In the research, which was conducted between July 25-29 using the computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) method, the YENİ Party ranked first with 31.2 percent. While the AK Party came in second with 29.2 percent, the CHP's vote share was measured at 4.8 percent.
YENİ PARTY IN FIRST PLACE
According to the results of the survey, the YENİ Party reached 31.2 percent, an increase of 0.7 points compared to the previous measurement.
The AK Party took second place with 29.2 percent. A 1-point decrease was recorded in the party's vote share compared to the previous survey.
The difference between the two parties was measured at 2 points.
CHP VOTE SHARE AT 4.8 PERCENT
In the poll, the CHP's vote share was determined to be 4.8 percent. It was observed that the CHP experienced a 0.9-point increase compared to the previous measurement.
The survey results showed that the CHP's vote share remained below the 7 percent election threshold.
DEM PARTY AND MHP VOTE SHARES
The DEM Party took third place in the poll. While the DEM Party's vote share was measured at 8.8 percent, it was stated that the party recorded a 0.1-point increase compared to the previous survey.
The MHP ranked fourth with a 7.5 percent vote share. A 0.2-point increase was measured in the MHP's vote share.
VOTE SHARES OF OTHER PARTIES
In the survey, the İYİ Party ranked fifth with a 4.2 percent vote share. The İYİ Party's vote share fell by 0.2 points compared to the previous survey.
The Zafer Party was measured at 3.7 percent, the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) at 3.6 percent, the Anahtar Party at 1.9 percent, and the YENİ YOL Party at 1.7 percent.
While the TİP's vote share was 1 percent, the BBP remained at the 0.9 percent level.
HÜDA PAR received 0.4 percent, the Democrat Party 0.3 percent, and the BTP 0.3 percent of the vote. The total vote share of other parties was announced as 0.5 percent.
In the research announced by the Turkey Data Map, the vote shares of the parties and their changes compared to the previous measurement were listed as follows:
