İmamoğlu’s Presidential Campaign Office account made invisible on X from Turkey

EngelliWeb has announced that the X account of the Ekrem İmamoğlu Presidential Campaign Office has been made invisible from Turkey. The post stated that the account was blocked on July 16, 2026, on the grounds of "protecting national security and public order."

According to EngelliWeb, following the access block, the account's name was changed to "CAOIletisim11." The X platform made the account, which has 226 thousand followers, inaccessible from Turkey as of August 3, 2026.

In a previous post on July 16, it was stated that an access block decision had been issued for İmamoğlu’s YouTube channel and the Presidential Campaign Office’s X account. At that time, it was noted that the YouTube channel with 787 thousand subscribers and the X account with 222 thousand followers had not yet been made invisible from Turkey.

With the latest announcement, it has been reported that a platform-level step has been taken to make the X account invisible from Turkey. No new information was provided in the post regarding the current status of the YouTube channel.
