Changes have been made to the regulation regarding the principles of promotion and title change in public institutions and organizations. The regulation, published in the Official Gazette, has redefined the conditions for appointment without an exam to director and assistant director positions from certain management roles that are not subject to the promotion exam.
According to the newly added article, those currently in director and assistant director titles or equivalent or higher management positions that are not subject to the promotion exam will be required to meet specific conditions to be appointed to relevant positions without an exam under general provisions.
In this context, it will be required that the personnel in question meet the relevant conditions, excluding their working periods in lower-level positions, and have served in management roles for at least 3 years continuously, in a permanent and active capacity.
The regulation has entered into force within the scope of the "Regulation on Amending the General Regulation on Principles of Promotion and Title Change in Public Institutions and Organizations."
