Apple releases iOS 27: What has changed?

Following the introduction of its new iPhone models, Apple has made the iOS 27 update available for general use. The new version stands out with innovations focused on artificial intelligence, camera, connectivity, and performance, which are aimed at making a difference in daily use, alongside visual touches to the interface.

Among the notable highlights of the update are system-wide individual audio control, artificial intelligence capabilities added to the Shortcuts app, and visual production tools developed via Playground. On the Safari side, notification support for page and price tracking is now offered.

It is noted that iOS 27 has followed a more stable path in terms of performance and battery efficiency since its beta process. However, the fact that the new generation agent-based Siri features highlighted during the launch and the password auto-change support are not active for users in Turkey in the first version is cited as one of the update's most significant shortcomings.

The new version also aims to improve the daily user experience with hardware-based dual-camera FaceTime support and network optimizations that evaluate cellular data and Wi-Fi connections together. Especially on devices running with A18 Pro and new-generation processors, artificial intelligence features are expected to become more comprehensive with subsequent interim updates.

For users considering upgrading to iOS 27, the strong side of the update lies in the practical improvements in the interface, camera, and performance areas. Conversely, the fact that some artificial intelligence features will be rolled out gradually by region may be a factor in the decision-making process, especially for users with high expectations regarding Siri.
