Google introduces new artificial intelligence products
At its annual developer conference "Google I/O 2024," Google announced new artificial intelligence products and features, including improvements in many areas such as search, photos, and the Android operating system.
In a statement from the company, it was stated that a series of quality improvements have been made to the "Gemini 1.5 Pro" model in core use cases such as translation, coding, and reasoning.
The statement emphasized that the "Gemini 1.5 Flash" model, the newest member of the Gemini series, is optimized for narrower or high-frequency tasks where response speed is of the utmost importance, noting that the model can quickly summarize conversations, add captions to images and videos, and extract data from large documents and tables.
The statement also introduced two new models added to the next-generation open-source Gemma family, while sharing progress regarding the future of artificial intelligence assistants with "Project Astra."
The statement also announced Veo, a model for high-resolution video generation, and Imagen 3, a text-to-image model, and introduced the "Ask Photos" feature, a new way to search for photos with Gemini.
