Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max unveiled: Large battery, Leica camera, and dynamic rear display

Xiaomi has introduced its new high-end smartphones, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max models. The company's ongoing camera partnership with Leica was among the highlights of the new series.

Both models feature a triple camera system on the back. According to the information shared, the phones are equipped with a setup consisting of 200 MP, 50 MP, and 200 MP resolution cameras. It was stated that this system is supported by lossless zoom options.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max comes with a 6.9-inch screen. The model features 2624 x 1208 resolution, a 1-120Hz refresh rate, 4000 nits brightness, Xiaomi Privacy Display, Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0, Xiaomi HyperRGB 2.0 LTPO, and next-generation dynamic rear display features. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor and offers 12 GB and 16 GB RAM options, along with storage options ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB.

In the Pro Max model, the front camera has a resolution of 50 MP. While the phone draws attention with its 8,500 mAh battery capacity, it offers 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. The starting price of the 235-gram model was announced as 1,045 dollars. The price of the version with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage is approximately 1,492 dollars.

On the Xiaomi 18 Pro side, there is a 6.4-inch screen, 2436 x 1220 resolution, 1-120Hz refresh rate, and 4000 nits brightness. The model also includes Xiaomi Privacy Display, Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0, Xiaomi HyperRGB 2.0 LTPO, and dynamic rear display features.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, a 50 MP front camera, and a 7,000 mAh battery. This model also has 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. The starting price of the 203-gram phone was announced as 895 dollars, while the price of its top-tier version was announced as 1,343 dollars.
