Amedspor displays banner for Sırrı Süreyya Önder
Amedspor players took to the field with a banner reading "Get well soon, brother Sırrı" to show support for Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who is receiving hospital treatment for a heart condition. Fans also sent messages of solidarity with banners and chants in the stands.
The health condition of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), DEM Party Istanbul MP, and member of the Imralı Delegation, remains serious after he was hospitalized and underwent surgery on Tuesday night (April 15) following a heart condition.
Before yesterday's home match against Çorumspor, Amedspor players took to the field with a banner for Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who is being treated in an intensive care unit in Istanbul.
The banner read, "Get well soon, brother Sırrı." The banner, which was approved by the TFF, received applause from the stands.
Amedspor fans unfurled a banner in the stands that read, "The heart of peace is great, this heart will not be silenced, we are with you, brother Sırrı."
Additionally, fans chanted, "Hold on, brother Sırrı, hold on."
