The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Arbitration Board has reached a decision regarding the appeal filed against the penalty imposed on Galatasaray player Abdülkerim Bardakcı by the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK).
The Board ruled to uphold the 2-match suspension from official competitions and the 67 thousand TL fine Bardakcı received for his "fighting" action. Galatasaray's request for the suspension of the penalty was also unanimously rejected.
In its decision, the Arbitration Board stated that there was no inaccuracy in the PFDK's decision dated October 29, 2026, regarding "proof, legal qualification, and the determination of the penalty."
The Board also upheld the penalties given to Galatasaray coach Serhat Doğan. The appeals against the 50 thousand TL fine Doğan received for being in non-accredited areas, as well as the 21-day ban from sports-related activities for unsportsmanlike conduct toward an opposing team's athlete, were also rejected.
It was announced that the decisions were taken unanimously.
