Aydın Büyükşehir Belediyespor signs 1-year contract with French outside hitter Guewe Diouf

Aydın Büyükşehir Belediyespor, one of the teams in the Women's Volleyball 1st League, has reached an agreement with French outside hitter Guewe Diouf as part of its new season roster restructuring. The club announced that a 1-year contract has been signed with the 22-year-old player.

In a statement from the blue-and-white club, it was stated, "Welcome Guewe Diouf! Our club has signed a 1-year contract with outside hitter Guewe Diouf as part of our new season planning. Born on June 15, 2002, Diouf is 185 centimeters tall. Throughout her career, she has played for France Avenir 2024, the University of Oklahoma, ASPTT Mulhouse Volley-Ball, Volley-Ball Club Chamalières, CSM Bucuresti, UNI Opole, and AEK Athens.

Guewe Diouf, who has also worn the French National Team jersey, was part of the national team squad between 2022 and 2025. The Aydın representative aims to strengthen its options in the attacking line with its new transfer.
