Aziz Yıldırım lashes out at social media posts targeting his daughter: 'They are paid dogs'

Speaking at the Fenerbahçe Ordinary High Council Meeting, President Aziz Yıldırım addressed the club's agenda and also reacted to posts made about him and his family on social media.

Yıldırım stated that some journalists and YouTube broadcasters have been making claims that do not reflect the truth, and announced that they would initiate legal proceedings, particularly due to remarks targeting his 13-year-old daughter, Yaz Yıldırım. Stating that his lawyers will file a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office on Monday, Yıldırım used the following expressions:

“I am telling those who involve my daughter; if the state does not do something, I will do what is necessary! They will put an end to the indecency on social media now. We all have mothers, fathers, and children. We have values. They should not attack our values. What has a 12-13-year-old child done? Is it a crime to love Fenerbahçe this much! They are paid dogs! I am not afraid of anything. I will even go to jail.”

In the continuation of his speech, Yıldırım also gave examples regarding YouTube broadcasts and social media comments. Stating that Mehmet Arslan had made a claim about him saying, "Aziz Yıldırım spoke with İsmail Kartal. He said let's kick out İrfan Can," Yıldırım stated that this was not true.

Expressing that he had spoken with İsmail Kartal but did not have such a conversation regarding the players, Yıldırım said, "He is writing lies, lies! I called İsmail Kartal at 12 last night, I asked how are you, are you well, we talked about some things, but not about the athletes, not about these issues."
