Galatasaray's transfer efforts for Milan's Rafael Leao continue to be a major topic in the sports community. While the Portuguese star's name is being linked to both Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, reports from the Italian press have further fueled the transfer speculation.
According to claims in the Italian media, Galatasaray has reached a principle agreement with Leao on personal terms. The report suggests that the transfer could materialize if the offer submitted by the yellow-reds to Milan, which includes a mandatory purchase option of 50 million Euros, is converted into a direct transfer fee.
TERIM'S WORDS BACK IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Following the transfer rumors, the statements Fatih Terim made about Leao in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport in March 2023 have begun to be shared again on social media.
Terim's assessment has been brought back to the agenda at a time when discussions regarding the possibility of Leao's transfer to Turkey have intensified. Developments concerning the Portuguese footballer's future at Milan and the interest from Turkish clubs are expected to become clearer in the coming days.
