How much did Fenerbahçe earn from Europe this season?
The revenue Fenerbahçe earned from its European campaign this season has been revealed following their elimination by Olympiacos in the UEFA Europa Conference League. Had the Yellow-Navies eliminated Olympiacos, they would have added another 2 million Euros to their coffers.
Fenerbahçe lost 3-2 on penalties to Olympiacos in the UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final second leg, after winning the match 1-0 in regular time.
With this result, the Yellow-Navies bid farewell to the Conference League in the quarter-final round and closed their European chapter.
By being eliminated by Olympiacos, Fenerbahçe also missed the opportunity to add significant revenue to their coffers.
According to the report on NTV Spor; the Yellow-Navies had earned 1.65 million Euros for reaching the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League and 2.94 million Euros for qualifying for the group stages.
Fenerbahçe, which added 979 thousand Euros from the country coefficient to its coffers, also earned 600 thousand Euros for reaching the round of 16.
Having generated 1 million Euros in revenue for reaching the quarter-finals, Fenerbahçe put a total of 9.8 million Euros into its coffers in Europe.
Had Fenerbahçe eliminated Olympiacos and reached the semi-finals, they would have added another 2 million Euros to their coffers.
