Fenerbahçe's experienced forward Edin Dzeko has officially bid farewell to the club following his season in the yellow-and-navy jersey. The 39-year-old star footballer departed from Istanbul Airport at 11:30 this morning, heading to his home country of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The club had announced in an official statement yesterday that both Dzeko and Dusan Tadic were leaving the team.
FAREWELL CEREMONY AT SAMANDIRA
Emotional moments took place during the ceremony held at the Samandıra Can Bartu Facilities prior to his departure. Saying goodbye to his teammates and the technical staff, Dzeko expressed his respect and love for the yellow-and-navy club in his speech.
