Sadettin Saran slams Jose Mourinho!

Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran made important assessments regarding the club's agenda.

Criticizing the process experienced during the Jose Mourinho era, Saran said, “A very poor training camp process took place in Portugal. We are still seeing the effects of it. There was a sense of stagnation at Samandıra; I even understated it. That process deeply affected the team,” he said.

President Saran also drew attention to the magnitude of the financial burden encountered after taking office:

“Since the day we arrived, we have made payments of 39.8 million euros. During the Kasımpaşa match, the players were following the election. We dealt with many claims such as ‘He cannot be a candidate, if he is, he cannot be elected.’ Promises made during the election process were not kept.”

Saran also evaluated the decision to continue with head coach Domenico Tedesco.

Under these conditions, if I had sent Tedesco away, what would have happened to the team's situation? We decided to continue with him because the players are behind him,” he stated.
