Alcest is coming to Istanbul

Alcest, the pioneer of the genre known as blackgaze—which blends black metal, post-rock, and shoegaze—began in 2000 as the solo project of French musician Neige.

Returning to our country after a 7-year hiatus as part of the tour for their upcoming album 'Les Chants de l’Aurore', the band will also perform their new songs live for the first time at this concert.

Initially formed as a trio, the group continued as a duo after transitioning to the shoegaze style.

Inspired by bands such as My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Ride, the group is known for blending this genre with the harmonies of coldwave and post-rock, while maintaining metal music within their sound.
