A temporary restriction has been placed on the use of motorcycles and scooters in Kocaeli due to adverse weather conditions. The Kocaeli Governor's Office announced that heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in the city until the afternoon hours.
According to the Governor's Office statement, motorcycle, scooter, and electric scooter users, as well as motorcycle couriers, are prohibited from entering traffic until 12:00 PM today as a precautionary measure.
It was stated that the decision was taken due to the risks that the rainfall may pose to road safety. Authorities have urged drivers and citizens to be cautious regarding the weather conditions.
