Traffic regulations will be implemented on the Osmangazi Bridge due to the Osmangazi Republic Run, which will be held as part of the October 29 Republic Day celebrations.
According to the statement made by the Kocaeli Governor's Office, the running event will take place on the section of the Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir Motorway between the Muallimköy Junction and the Altınova Junction, which is under the responsibility of the 1st Regional Directorate of Highways.
In this context, the Istanbul-Bursa direction of the Osmangazi Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic on October 29 between 04:00 and 18:00. The Bursa-Istanbul direction will remain open to traffic in both directions.
The statement noted that necessary security measures will be taken and traffic signs will be placed during the event. Drivers were requested to comply with the traffic signs and markers on the route.
