Following the Republican Party's election defeat in the U.S. midterm elections, the White House has made assessments regarding the future of the Donald Trump administration.
In a written statement issued by the White House, it was claimed that previous assessments regarding Trump's political future do not reflect the truth. The statement expressed that Democrats will attempt to change existing policies during the final two years of Trump's term, but that these attempts will be fruitless.
"The radical left, the fake news media, and professional panic circles have been wrong every time they have declared the political end of President Trump. They will be wrong again. Democrats will try to reverse every action Trump has implemented so far in the last 2 years of his presidency, but they will fail," it was stated.
Emphasis placed on Trump administration policies
The statement also touched upon the immigration, security, tax, and energy policies that Trump highlighted during the midterm election process.
Among the accomplishments of the Trump administration, topics such as border security, ending 'Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion' (DEI) practices, energy independence, and the protection of children were listed.
In the White House statement, the following expressions were used: "President Trump's record full of successes reveals a difference they cannot erase: border security, the termination of 'Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion' (DEI) practices, energy independence, the protection of our children, and much more."
White House also responds to impeachment attempts
The remainder of the statement also addressed potential attempts to remove Trump from office and reverse his administration's policies.
The White House argued that such efforts would end in failure just like previous attempts, stating: "Attempts to impeach him, reverse his policies, or undo the gains of his administration will share the same fate as the radical left's previous attempts: frustration. President Trump will never stop fighting."
