Maserati GT2 Stradale hits the road

Maserati’s new super sports car, the GT2 Stradale, has been designed for both road and track use. Unveiled at the Monterey Car Week event in California, the vehicle is preparing to go on sale in Europe.

It was tested by partners and customers at a special event held in Andalusia. The test drive began in Marbella, wound through the curvy roads of the Sierra de las Nieves, and concluded at the Ascari track near Ronda.

The GT2 Stradale stands out as a model connected to Maserati’s motorsport history. Developed based on the MC20, the car draws inspiration from the GT2 model competing in the Fanatec GT2 European Series. It draws attention with its 640-horsepower V6 Nettuno engine and a maximum speed of 324 km/h.

It can reach 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. The vehicle is produced at Maserati’s factory in Modena. The model, which will be produced in limited numbers, is capped at 914 units, paying homage to the brand’s deep-rooted history.
