Toyota Automotive Industry Turkey to pause production at Sakarya plant for planned maintenance
Toyota Automotive Industry Turkey will conduct planned maintenance, revision, and modernization work at its Sakarya plant between August 3 and 17.
Toyota Automotive Industry Turkey (TMMT) has announced that it will temporarily pause production at its Sakarya plant due to planned maintenance and revision work. According to the company's statement, production activities will be halted between August 3 and 17.
At the Sakarya plant, which is considered one of Toyota's largest production facilities in Europe, maintenance, as well as revision and modernization work, will be carried out during this period. TMMT aims to strengthen its production infrastructure and increase operational efficiency and production continuity with these efforts.

With approximately 5,000 employees, Toyota Automotive Industry Turkey holds an important position in the automotive sector with its high production and export capacity, alongside its suppliers and business partners.
The company was ranked fifth in the "Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises" list announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry and second in the "Turkey's Top 1000 Exporters Survey" by the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
