TAV Airports Latvia Country Director Hakan Uzunosmanoğlu will begin his new role as Senior Vice President of Commercial Affairs and Real Estate Management at Almaty International Airport, effective October 1, 2026.
DTİK Latvia Board Member, Latvian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce President, and TAV Airports Latvia Country Director Hakan Uzunosmanoğlu has decided to continue his career in Kazakhstan.
Effective October 1, 2026, Uzunosmanoğlu will begin his new role as Senior Vice President of Commercial Affairs and Real Estate Management at Almaty International Airport, which also operates under the TAV Airports umbrella.
Sharing a farewell and announcement message regarding his new position, Uzunosmanoğlu thanked his family, TAV Group employees, the Latvian aviation community, the Riga Airport management, public institutions, and business associations for their support during his tenure in Latvia.
Following an international career journey spanning from Australia to Eurasia and Africa to Europe, Uzunosmanoğlu is now stepping into a new chapter in Asia and expressed his excitement about contributing to the growth process of Almaty International Airport and Kazakhstan.
