The intersection between August 10, 1920, and August 10, 2026, cannot be viewed merely as a chronological coincidence in Turkey's historical memory. The Treaty of Sèvres, signed by the Ottoman Empire on August 10, 1920, stands as one of the most severe documents in Turkish political history aimed at the liquidation of sovereignty—a document of imposition rejected by the national will.
For this reason, the Treaty of Sèvres is, in fact, a plan and agreement for the fragmentation of the Turkish nation during the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, carried out before the eyes of the entire world.
However, the Treaty of Lausanne, signed as a result of the victory in the War of Independence waged against this plan, is the registration of the founding will of the Republic of Turkey in international law before the entire world.
In short, the existence of the Republic of Turkey is built upon the rejection of Sèvres and the acceptance of Lausanne.
Every issue of sovereignty discussed in Turkey today is directly within this historical line.
And this is precisely the problem of the imperialist West…
This is also the fundamental issue underlying all the political games played over our 103-year history of the Republic…
This country has been punished with dirty and divisive moves from the outside, utilizing traitors from different internal factions after every development initiative.
When we look at the games played over the Republican People's Party (CHP), it is clear that for the pack of hyenas intending to divide this homeland, a large part of the problem is actually the principles of the CHP.
Yet, Mustafa Kemal had already planned the construct of a fully independent Republic from his very young age.
The principles of Republicanism, Nationalism, Populism, and Secularism were included in the Republican People's Party program in 1927; Statism and Reformism were added in 1931. The 1935 CHP Program defined all six of these principles as Kemalism, and in February 1937, the Six Arrows took their place in the Constitution.
In other words, Kemalism did not remain merely as the party ideology of the CHP while Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was alive; it also formed the founding codes of the Republic of Turkey.
This is precisely the resistance that imperialism finds most difficult to overcome in Turkey:
The Kemalist Republic, which was born from the spirit of the Kuvayı Milliye (National Forces) and the Defense of Rights, rejected Sèvres, registered its independence with Lausanne, and institutionalized this under the roof of a nation-state.
The cadres governing the state who respect this legacy know that when they use the concept of the Turkish nation, the concept of the nation encompasses all ethnic origins that won the War of Independence shoulder to shoulder.
The Turkish nation is aware that this definition is a nation that has bonded against imperialism under the common benefit of a shared homeland, including all ethnic groups of Kurdish, Laz, Circassian, Georgian, Arab, or Caucasian origin.
Our citizens of Kurdish origin, who never find it fair for the framework law to be accepted, also know that a possible division in these lands would harm them the most.
Because imperialism has no religion, faith, culture, customs, traditions, or values…
Everything that money can buy is permissible for them…
Furthermore, the baby-killer Abdullah Öcalan is not a representative of the citizens of Kurdish origin who make up the Turkish nation.
It is immoral to portray the PKK and the Kurds as if they were part of the same elements.
The imprisoned terrorists, numbering five or six thousand, did not distinguish between Kurdish, Turkish, or Laz when they took the lives of innocent people for the sake of their treacherous plans; there are even forty-day-old babies in the graves of this nation, which has been subjected to various tortures, that we are astonished to see on the funeral bier.
The Republic's definition of citizenship was actually further clarified with the abolition of the capitulations in Lausanne.
The definition of citizenship in the constitution of the Republic of Turkey is very clear.
The definition of "equal citizenship," as used by political parties that have become appendages of the AKP today and by the chairman who took over the Republican People's Party with a decision of absolute nullity, is an illusion.
The problem is not the inequality of the citizens of the Republic of Turkey before the law, but the misapplications of distorted law and justice.
Everyone who uses the definition of equal citizenship is creating a political perception that completes a deficiency in the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey.
To destroy the Republic founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms and to implement a centuries-old Middle East plan, the West has made numerous external interventions throughout our 103-year history of the Republic.
Following the transition to a multi-party system in 1950, the Republican People's Party, which represents the principles of the founding philosophy, could not come to power alone due to many interventions.
The Republican People's Party, which was closed down by the September 12, 1980, coup, was re-established in 1992 with superior effort and labor by true patriotic cadres.
Since that day, if the Republican People's Party, which is a direct target of the West, cannot be eliminated and the bond between the Six Arrows principles and the country's founding codes cannot be broken; the imperialists have applied the methods they use on the states they plan to destroy in the Middle East geography to us as well, and they have tried to purge the cadres who manage the Republican People's Party and keep the party's ideological structure alive, and they have been largely successful.
For this reason, the ideological neutralization of the Republican People's Party, especially since 2010, the hollowing out of the Six Arrows, and the elimination of the determining power of Kemalism in the party's decision-making mechanisms cannot be evaluated as a simple intra-party struggle.
Otherwise, the New Party would have said "No" to this divisive law on the anniversary of Sèvres today…
I read the 2010 fracture exactly from here.
The truths we objected to during the Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu era were the systematic departure of the CHP from its founding principles, the neutralization of the Republican cadres who objected to this, and the gradual transformation of the Six Arrows into a symbolic party emblem.
While we were putting forward these objections, the founding cadres of the New Party, who claim to appear before the Turkish nation as a hope today, were paving the way for Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu to systematically transform the party.
They were even saying that those who opposed Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his policies were "AK trolls"…
Today, a great illusion is being created through AKP fatigue and hatred of Tayyip Erdoğan.
The fact that some of the cadres shaped during the Kılıçdaroğlu era are against Kılıçdaroğlu today does not mean that that political mentality has been purged.
Resigning from the CHP against Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who seized the party administration with a decision of absolute nullity, does not make anyone a Kemalist, nor does it make those who choose to stay in the party and fight against the Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu mentality from within traitors…
The game is much bigger…
The Republican People's Party, divided and fragmented through hatred of the AKP and Tayyip Erdoğan, should not be left abandoned by being completely surrendered to this mentality that has torn the party from its principles and backbone…
Without taking this historical framework and sense of responsibility into account, it is impossible to understand the framework law discussions currently on the agenda of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey under the title of "Terror-Free Turkey."
The framework law brought to the Veteran Parliament today under the title of "Terror-Free Turkey," when evaluated together with its political timing coinciding with the anniversary of Sèvres, carries the character of an open rebellion against Lausanne. Because this discussion appears as a re-founding attempt that directly affects not only the law of counter-terrorism but also the Republic of Turkey's definition of sovereignty, understanding of citizenship, and unitary state structure.
It is seen that; other than the IYI Party, which was established after the drifts experienced in the Nationalist Movement Party, unfortunately, no one under the roof of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey is taking ownership of this historical struggle before the memory of our martyrs and veterans.
For this reason, we must look at the games played on the Republican People's Party for some time, all the interventions made from inside and outside the party, and this historical process our country is going through from a much wider angle, not with populist perceptions, but with honest, objective, and patriotic feelings.
This fact is clear…
The great powers that brought the AKP government to that position no longer have any patience within the scope of the plans they have built on Turkey.
They could not reach a conclusion with coups, conspiracies, fake opposition, fake nationalism, party bylaws they hollowed out, and politicians they bought; they have wasted a lot of time in Turkey in their own view…
And they have never forgotten the words they said while signing Lausanne…
Believing that the Turks will one day surely lose what they won at Lausanne, they are implementing their plans without slowing down…
It is precisely in the light of all these facts that this regulation, which came to the agenda of the TBMM on August 10, 2026, is a political fracture that directly touches the founding principles of the state, beyond being a peaceful and technical legal text.
The Turkish nation will never forget the political parties that passed this law through Parliament today with various excuses and the deputies who signed this law…
Do not forget that sovereignty belongs to the nation…
