Following the enactment of Law No. 7595 on the Strengthening of National Solidarity and Social Integration, known to the public as the Framework Law, the confirmation by the National Security Council that the PKK/KCK and all affiliated entities have effectively ceased to exist and have surrendered their weapons has paved the way for the suspension of investigations, prosecutions, and the execution of sentences for certain crimes related to the PKK/KCK. Subject to the condition that the bureaucratic and political formal determination of the effective dissolution of the PKK/KCK is achieved, investigations and prosecutions for crimes covered by the law with an upper limit of less than 15 years will be suspended for 5 years, while those for crimes requiring a prison sentence of more than 15 years or life/aggravated life imprisonment will be suspended for 10 years, excluding intentional homicide committed within the framework of organizational activity and crimes requiring life or aggravated life imprisonment committed before June 1, 2005. The statute of limitations for the sentence will not run during the suspension period. If no new terrorism-related crime is committed during the suspension period, the investigations and prosecutions will be dropped, and the suspended sentence will be considered served. Applications to benefit from the law must be made within 6 months.

Following the public outcry over the sentences received by the perpetrators in the murder of Ahmet Mattia Minguzzi, amendments made to the Turkish Penal Code via Law No. 7593 on Amendments to the Child Protection Law and Certain Other Laws have increased the lower and upper limits of reduced prison sentences for crimes committed by children in the 12-15 and 15-18 age groups. The possibility of reducing the sentence mitigation applied to children for certain serious crimes has been added to the legislation. 

With Law No. 7594 on Amendments to Certain Laws, a monthly pension will now be granted to personnel of the Turkish Armed Forces, Gendarmerie, Police, MIT, and security guards who were injured by weapons, explosives, or close-combat attacks during counter-terrorism operations but were not previously classified as disabled. This law will cover only events that have occurred to date on a one-time basis, and applications must be made within 1 year.

Following the amendment to the General Terms of Compulsory Earthquake Insurance, the existing DASK policy will terminate upon the registration date at the Land Registry Office, and the seller will be able to receive a refund for the premium of the remaining days. Land Registry Offices will also check whether the buyer has a valid DASK policy during the transaction. In other words, as of September 5, 2026, when the regulation enters into force, it has become mandatory for buyers to obtain a DASK policy after property sales. In transfers other than sales, the policy may continue with the new owner. However, in this case, the new owner must notify the insurance company within 15 days. 

With the amendment made to the TMMOB Chamber of Computer Engineers Main Regulation, the terms "artificial intelligence engineering" and "artificial intelligence and data engineering" have been added to the regulation.
