Chris de Burgh, known for his romantic songs, will perform a concert at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center on October 26.
Chris de Burgh, who has a wide fan base with his timeless romantic songs from the 1970s to the present, is coming to Istanbul on October 26 for a night that will be etched in memory with his velvet voice and unique stage show.
Tickets for the concert, where the legendary performer will sing classics such as “The Lady in Red”, “Don't Pay the Ferryman”, “A Spaceman Came Travelling” and “The Traveller”, have gone on sale.
WHO IS CHRIS DE BURGH?
Argentine-born Irish pop-rock singer Chris de Burgh is considered one of the leading names in romantic music. Burgh’s songs “Lady in Red” and “The Traveller” remained at number one for a long time in 24 countries, especially in the UK, and broke sales records.
The legendary musician, who has won over 200 platinum and gold record awards, has seen his songs rise to number one on world charts many times and they were among the most played songs on the radio in the 1990s. Burgh gave his last concert in Istanbul in 2012.
