TRT has cancelled another project by the screenwriter it 'blacklisted'! It explained the reason...

The series "Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi" by screenwriter Ali Aydın, who had reacted to the removal of Aybüke Pusat from the series "Teşkilat" on the grounds that she had shared a boycott post, was previously removed from TRT's Tabii platform. It has now emerged that another of Aydın's projects was also cancelled by TRT.

In a statement made via social media, Aydın said, "I adapted Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar's novel titled 'Huzur'. The adaptation went to TRT. Again, there is no criticism, but there is hesitation. The reason for this hesitation is that there is a Republic cortege and a Republic Ball in the first episode."

REASONS FOR THE PROJECT'S CANCELLATION

Regarding the cancellation of his new project, Aydın said, "The project was not made for these reasons. I hope I have been able to explain why culture could not be built and cannot be built in this state."

'Since I am on the blacklist, then here you go: I adapted the novel titled 'Huzur' by Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, this great author whom I love very much. And this adaptation did not receive a single criticism; on the contrary, it received favor. I will not give the name of the person who bought the rights to the novel and allow them to be added to your blacklist. And this adaptation went to TRT. I will not give the names of the people at TRT and allow you to take the bread out of their mouths. Again, there is no criticism, but there is hesitation. And the reason for this hesitation is that there is a Republic cortege and again a Republic Ball in the first episode. However, in the scene at the ball, I also have a saying belonging to the Istanbul Bektashis recited due to the dramatic structure. And the project was not made for these reasons.
