11-year-old child sexually abused in mosque toilet in Kocaeli!

11-year-old B.Ö. met 30-year-old E.Ö. in 2023 through the online game PUBG.

E.Ö., who played the game with the child over the computer, arranged to meet B.Ö. in Gölcük, where he sexually abused him in a mosque toilet and threatened him not to tell anyone.

Not stopping there, E.Ö. demanded nude photos and videos from the child. B.Ö., who sent the requested content out of fear, was discovered when his family grew suspicious of his behaviour and pressed him on the matter.

HE ABUSED ANOTHER CHILD TOO!

E.Ö., who was taken into custody following the family's complaint, was released after giving his initial statement. However, after his release, he was reported again on allegations of abusing another child he had also met through the same game. This time the defendant was arrested and sent to prison.

E.Ö., who attended the latest hearing at the Kocaeli 3rd Heavy Criminal Court via SEGBİS, denied the charges against him, claiming that he had only met the victim through the game and that they had eaten döner together once. However, B.Ö. had stated in earlier hearings that the defendant had threatened him, demanded nude images of him, and sexually abused him in the mosque toilet.

The court panel ruled that the defendant's detention should continue and adjourned the hearing to a later date.
