Association for Supporting Contemporary Living files lawsuit against curriculum change
The curriculum change implemented by the Ministry of National Education continues to draw reactions. Most recently, the Association for Supporting Contemporary Living (ÇYDD) announced in a statement that it has filed a lawsuit requesting a stay of execution and the cancellation of the changes.
The following statement was shared on the association's social media account:
As the ÇYDD, on behalf of our association's legal entity, we have filed a lawsuit with the Council of State requesting a stay of execution and the cancellation of the curriculum change known as the 'Education Model,' in order to defend the right of our children, who are the future of our country, to a contemporary, secular, and scientific education in the light of Atatürk's principles and revolutions.
