13 people have been detained in the fourth wave of operations regarding the Ahbap Criminal Organization investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was stated that businessman Hüseyin Başaran is among those detained.
WHAT HAPPENED?
In recent weeks, an investigation was launched into the AHBAP Association on allegations of "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes," "qualified fraud," and "laundering assets derived from crime."
In previous operations carried out within the scope of the investigation, 28 people, including association president Haluk Levent, Ece Güner, and Oğuzhan Uğur, were arrested, and the assets of the association and certain individuals were seized.
