Cafer Mahiroğlu responds to 'irregular loan' allegations

Halk TV Chairman of the Board Cafer Mahiroğlu, responded to the "allegations that he obtained a large amount of irregular loans" that have recently surfaced, through a statement on his social media account. Denying the allegations, Mahiroğlu stated that he has no loan debt to any bank and announced that he would pursue legal action against those who prepared and shared the reports.

"LIES AND SLANDER SHOULD BE A MATTER FOR THE LAW"

Stating that numerous reports have been written about him to date, Mahiroğlu expressed that the vast majority of these did not reflect the truth, but that he did not resort to lawsuits out of respect for the right to criticism. Noting that the allegations recently put forward have exceeded the limits of individual tolerance, Mahiroğlu described the situation as "an assassination of character" and "a conscious operation" .

"I HAVE NO LOAN DEBT TO ANY BANK"

Making a statement via the X platform, Mahiroğlu denied the allegations that he had used irregular loans and stated that he would exercise his legal rights against those who made and spread the reports.

Mahiroğlu included the following statements in his post:

However, when lies and slander turn into an assassination of character and a conscious operation, it should be a matter for the law, not individual tolerance. The latest allegation made against me concerns the irregular acquisition of a large loan. I have not taken out such a loan, I do not know such a bank manager, nor do I have a single penny of loan debt to any bank. I declare that I will exercise all my legal rights against those who signed and spread this deliberately crafted report."
