AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan released a video message on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the Republic, which was proclaimed by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Stating that the Republic is the strongest indicator of the Turkish nation's will for independence and its determination to determine its own future, Erdoğan expressed that the National Struggle was won through great sacrifices made in unity and solidarity.
In his message, Erdoğan described the progress made over the last 24 years in the fields of defense industry, energy, transportation, and diplomacy as "milestones on the road to an effective and prosperous Turkey." He stated that Turkey is advancing as a country that develops its own technology, strengthens its energy supply security, and increases its production capacity.
Noting that the world is going through a period marked by wars, conflicts, and crises in the immediate geography and different parts of the world, Erdoğan noted that Turkey maintains its stability and takes responsibility for the resolution of disputes.
Erdoğan's statements are as follows:
"Today, we are celebrating the 103rd anniversary of the founding of our Republic with great pride and enthusiasm. I congratulate our dear nation, our Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters, and all our citizens living in different parts of the world on the October 29 Republic Day.
I convey my most sincere gratitude to our esteemed guests who share our holiday joy and excitement at our missions abroad. I also embrace with affection all our friends and brothers and sisters with whom we share a bond of destiny and heart, whose hearts beat with our nation in different corners of our spiritual and cultural geography, and who rejoice and grieve with us."
"OUR COUNTRY IS ADVANCING WITH CONFIDENT STEPS TOWARD A STRONGER FUTURE"
Our Republic is the strongest sign of the Turkish nation's will for independence, determination to live freely, and resolve to determine its own future, a history full of glorious victories and struggles. The national struggle we waged with great sacrifices under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal showed the whole world what a nation united in solidarity can achieve even under the most difficult conditions. This great success, achieved amidst impossibilities, not only changed the fate of a nation but also inscribed in history the power of the national will and the indispensability of the right to live independently.
The perseverance, courage, and determination we displayed as a nation exactly 103 years ago continue to be our strongest source of motivation today. We see the distance we have covered in the last 24 years in a wide spectrum ranging from the defense industry to energy, from transportation to diplomacy, as milestones on the road to an effective and prosperous Turkey. Our country, which develops its own technology, increases its capabilities and facilities in the defense field, strengthens its energy supply security, renews its transportation infrastructure according to the requirements of the age, and constantly grows its production capacity, is advancing with confident steps toward a stronger future.

As Turkey, in a difficult period where wars, conflicts, and crises are experienced in our immediate vicinity and in different parts of the world, we not only maintain our stability but also take responsibility for the resolution of our disputes. With the motto of peace in the world, peace in the region, and peace at home, we will continue to strive for peace and justice with determination from now on.
As 86 million people, by uniting around our common values, we will together carry the Republic of Turkey, which we see as our canopy that will turn our Century of Turkey goal into reality, to much brighter tomorrows.
I would like to express with great satisfaction that, thank God, Turkey is stronger today than it was yesterday. Hopefully, tomorrow it will be much stronger, much more reputable, and much more effective in every field. With God's permission, the Turkish nation will leave its mark on the century we are in. May the Almighty clear our path and our fortune as a nation. On this occasion, I commemorate with mercy the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades-in-arms, the heroes of our national struggle, and our dear martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our homeland, and I offer my gratitude to our veterans.
