Erdoğan to visit UAE and Egypt

President Erdoğan will pay official visits to the United Arab Emirates on February 12-13, 2024, and to the Arab Republic of Egypt on February 14, 2024.

ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON GAZA TO BE ADDRESSED

The Presidency's Directorate of Communications released the following statement regarding President Erdoğan's visits on its X account this evening:

“Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will pay official visits to the United Arab Emirates on February 12-13, 2024, and to the Arab Republic of Egypt on February 14, 2024, in response to invitations received. Our President will attend the World Government Summit to be held in Dubai on February 13 as a guest of honor under the theme 'Shaping Future Governments.' He will deliver a keynote address at the summit, which brings together state and government officials from various countries, as well as representatives from international organizations, the private sector, academia, civil society, think tanks, and the media, along with business leaders. It is also expected that our President will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from participating countries, primarily the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of the summit.

During our President's visit to Cairo, the discussions will focus on steps to be taken to develop relations between Turkey and Egypt and to revitalize high-level bilateral cooperation mechanisms. In addition to bilateral relations, an exchange of views on current global and regional issues, primarily the Israeli attacks in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, is also on the agenda."

Cumhurbaşkanımız Sayın Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, vaki davetlere icabetle 12-13 Şubat 2024 tarihlerinde Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri’ne, 14 Şubat 2024 tarihinde ise Mısır Arap Cumhuriyeti’ne resmi ziyaretlerde bulunacaklardır.
