4 million 654 thousand lira fine for rest stops selling in foreign currency
Ministry of Trade Press Advisor Fatih Uysan announced that a total of 4 million 654 thousand 200 lira in fines were issued to rest stops in Antalya found to be selling products in foreign currency following inspections.
Ministry of Trade Press Advisor Fatih Uysan announced on his social media account that teams affiliated with the Ministry of Trade had conducted operations targeting rest stops in Antalya.
As a result of these operations, the statement indicated that many products such as souvenirs, food, beverages, textiles, and marine supplies lacked price tags, and that products which did have tags were priced in euros and dollars.
The statement noted that the Ministry of Trade Provincial Directorate inspection teams issued administrative fines totaling 4 million 654 thousand 200 lira to the facilities.
