Fire breaks out at a plastic bag factory in Esenyurt
A fire that broke out at a plastic bag manufacturing factory in Istanbul's Esenyurt district caused damage. There were no casualties in the incident, and the flames were brought under control thanks to the timely intervention of firefighting teams.
A fire, the cause of which has not yet been determined, broke out on the top floor of a six-story plastic bag factory located on Küçük Ayazma Street in the Osmangazi neighborhood. Factory officials who noticed the fire reported the situation to the fire department in a short time.
Upon the notification, numerous firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene, and operations were initiated shortly thereafter. As a result of the intensive intervention, the flames were extinguished before they could grow, and they were prevented from spreading to other floors.
While it was stated that the building sustained damage due to the fire, there were no injuries or loss of life. Authorities reported that investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
