Foreign Minister Fidan: "The problem now transcends Israelis and Palestinians"
Evaluating the latest situation in Gaza while in Washington for US contacts, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said, "The problem now transcends Israelis and Palestinians. Therefore, regional states must take ownership of the issue and act with an awareness of their responsibilities."
Fidan, who is in Washington for US contacts alongside members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League Contact Group, made assessments regarding the agenda to members of the press at the Four Seasons Hotel together with members of the Contact Group.

Minister Fidan warned that the Gaza issue is increasingly turning into a regional crisis, stating, "The problem now transcends Israelis and Palestinians.
Therefore, regional states must take ownership of the issue and act with an awareness of their responsibilities."
Touching upon the importance of the meeting they will hold today with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Fidan pointed out that it is essential for the US, in particular, to fulfill its responsibilities alongside the international community.
