Gürsel Tekin's first statement on expulsion decision: You cannot expel me

Özel announced that a decision had been made to expel Gürsel Tekin from the party. Gürsel Tekin evaluated the expulsion decision to journalist Murat Kelkitlioğlu, who was a guest on tv100.
Following the dismissal of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Administration and the appointment of a trustee in its place, CHP leader Özgür Özel announced in his first statement that a decision had been made to expel Gürsel Tekin from the party.
“I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS DECISION”
Kelkitlioğlu stated that in the explanation Gürsel Tekin provided to him, he said, 'I do not accept this decision. You shout about the AK Party judiciary, yet you are in a much worse situation. You cannot expel me without asking me, without taking my statement, and without me making a defense. You cannot refer me to the disciplinary board.'
