Heartless father threw his crying baby to the ground multiple times: 4-month-old baby lost their life

Azamat N. (28), a Turkmenistan national living in Istanbul's Avcılar district, went to a friend's house in Eyüpsultan with his wife and 4-month-old baby. While the mother was trying to put the crying baby to sleep, Azamat N. was drinking alcohol with his friend in another room. Azamat N. entered the room, took the baby, who would not stop crying, from his wife's arms, and threw them to the ground.

"BECAUSE I WAS ANNOYED BY THE CRYING"

According to the report by Dilek Yaman Demir from Sabah, it was determined that the baby, who was rushed to the hospital, had no unbroken bones left in their body, suffered from cranial trauma, and had their internal organs ruptured. The father, Azamat N., who was apprehended shortly after, said, "I was drinking alcohol with my friend. My wife was in another room with the baby. I started arguing with my wife because I was annoyed by the baby's crying; I said, 'Why are you making the child cry?' I took the baby from my wife's hands. At that moment, the child fell to the ground. I picked them up from the floor, and while I was throwing them toward the bed, the child fell to the ground again. I am ashamed of what I did." After his statement was taken, Azamat was brought to court and arrested.
