Her lawyer had said 'Her mental state is not good': Dilan Polat taken to Bakırköy Psychiatric Hospital

Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, a couple who frequently made headlines with their luxurious lifestyle and whose source of income was a subject of curiosity, were taken into custody on November 1. The couple, against whom an investigation was launched for money laundering, tax evasion, and establishing a criminal organization, were arrested and sent to prison.

It was revealed that Dilan Polat, who is being held at the Marmara Closed Penal Institution in Silivri, was transferred to the Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Training and Research Hospital for Psychiatry and Neurological Diseases in Bakırköy on December 29.

It was learned that Polat, who has been using antidepressants since 2019, was transferred to the hospital because her medication had run out.

Following the examinations, Dilan Polat was taken back to the Marmara Closed Penal Institution in Silivri.

HER LAWYER HAD SAID 'HER MENTAL STATE IS NOT GOOD'

Dilan Polat's lawyer, Hüseyin Kaya, had stated that Polat, who is going through difficult times in prison, was not in a good mental state.
