Humidity alert in Istanbul at night: Levels to reach 96 percent
In Istanbul, where hot weather is currently effective, humidity is expected to rise rapidly after midnight, reaching 96 percent between 03:00 and 06:00.
The hot weather that has persisted throughout the day in Istanbul will give way to stifling conditions with high humidity during the night hours. While it is noted that the air temperature in the city reached up to 32 degrees during the day, humidity is expected to remain at high levels throughout the night.
According to forecasts from the Turkish State Meteorological Service, the humidity level in Istanbul will increase especially after midnight. Between 21:00 and 24:00 on Friday, the temperature is projected to be 26 degrees with 87 percent humidity. Between 00:00 and 03:00 on Saturday, the temperature is expected to drop to 25 degrees, while humidity is expected to rise to 94 percent.

According to the forecasts, the humidity level is expected to reach its peak between 03:00 and 06:00. During this time frame, the temperature is estimated to drop to 23 degrees, while humidity is expected to rise to 96 percent. It is stated that in some areas, the humidity level may approach 99 percent.
High humidity is also notable in the five-day forecast for Istanbul. While the highest temperature on Saturday, August 8, is expected to be 33 degrees and humidity is expected to rise to 96 percent, it is projected that humidity levels will fluctuate between 87 and 93 percent in the following days.

The expectation of high humidity is not limited to Istanbul. According to reports from Hava Forum, humidity levels are also expected to remain high in Antalya, Adana, Mersin, Kocaeli, Yalova, Sakarya, Hatay, Rize, and Osmaniye.
